Given the amendments made to the Justice Laws by means of OUG 7/2019, as well as the existence of a significant number of official positions adopted on these legislative amendments by important actors of the judicial system, including the Cluj Bar Council, we believe that it is necessary for the U.N.B.R. to come out of passivity and assume a responsible public position, strengthening its role as a participant in the performance of the act of justice and defender of the rule of law.
Please note that the initiators of this petition - lawyers Andreea Banu, Andrei Diaconescu, Andrei Nicula, Diana Negrea, Cristian Zsifkov, members of the Leaders for Justice community, participants in the 10th generation (2019) - have registered an official request in this regard by Address no. 90 - Div. 2019/15.03.2019, submitted to the U.N.B.R. headquarters, following which the signatures of support collected will be submitted in addition.
