The Value of Integrity
In the Romania we want to live in, integrity is a pillar value, on whose existence depends both the moral health and the material prosperity of society.
We want to share with the world meaningful stories of people who have remained upright in a broken system, stories that inspire and give hope to those who want to build a better world.
Promoting positive examples can encourage us more than blaming lawlessness towards an honest exercise of introspection, through which we can find our moral selves. Moreover, the accumulation in the collective consciousness of strong examples of integrity will contribute to the reconsolidation of the value system and the dissociation of Romania's image from corruption.
Who are the Discreet Heroes?
Discreet Heroes are people who, in their fields of activity - administration, justice, health, education, culture, business or civil society - have faced circumstances where their integrity has been put to the test.
By the way they have reacted, the Unsung Heroes have proved that integrity is a fundamental value for them, one that they are willing to fight for unreservedly and defend unconditionally.
Although they are not in the public eye, they make the world a better place at their level of activity, without being specifically praised or rewarded for it.
They are the most important soldiers in the fight of value against non-value, the Romanians who have dared and who deserve the chance to tell their story to the general public.
